MAY Pole DANCE

If you missed your chance to dance around the May Pole this year, fear not! All are welcome at Asilomar’s Garden of Gratitude, a two day festival for Mother’s Day weekend at Asilomar Conference Grounds.

Join us at 12 noon for the Maypole on May 9th at the grand Cypress Meadow in Asilomar’s Conference Grounds, Elizabeth Murray and Michelle Magdalena will be hosting a sweet little Maypole dance and ritual for the community. After weeks of searching for musicians, we are so happy to announce that our dance will be met by the musical duo; Dan Franchette and Laurel Thompson, who are both a joy and very talented!

Don’t worry dancing is not a prerequisite and will be easy to join and all are welcome to stay for live music and vendors to shop local crafts for mother’s day gifts.

ATTENTION ALL FERTILITY RITUAL ENTHUSIASTS! This ritual will begin Friday with a pole hole digging and hole blessing / pole raising ceremony. Join us to give your offering of flowers and prayers to the ritual space 3:30-4:30pm Friday at the Grand Meadow of Asilomar!
