  • Connor Jones

Connor Jones was raised in the Ojai valley. Growing up he was fascinated by nature and spent much of his time outside observing the interactions that created the surrounding ecosystem. He was also an avid gardener and raised livestock on his 10 acre family property.  Later, as he learned about the ecological crisis that the world at large is facing he decided to find a way to positively engage with that knowledge. Permaculture and Regenerative design became an obvious pathway forward. Fresh out of high school he took off for Australia to pursue an education at the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia where he became a certified designer and teacher. Upon his return he set out to transform his family's property on the East End of Ojai into a living example of an ecosystem that serves the needs of humans while also creating a dramatic increase in habitat and biodiversity for other species, he dubbed it "East End Eden". For the last 12 years he has managed this demonstration site, hosted tours, events and workshops while also traveling to teach and consult on Regenerative Design.

Recently, he has been setting his sights on Citrus and helps to regeneratively manage multiple orange orchards in the valley.
